Keep on Track – High Quality Fitness Trackers For All Sports Occasions
When it comes to monitoring your daily exercise activity, a fitness tracker is a must-have. With the ability to display workout related data, such as heartbeat, calories burned and the number of steps taken, it’s easy to adjust your exercise accordingly.
Manufacturers are including increasing amounts of extra features, and most trackers now come with 11 or more separate sensors, although these have to be balanced against the possession of a decent battery life. Many models include GPS tracking – pairing with your cell phone, sleep monitoring, and the ability to play music. So whether your exercise of choice is jogging, swimming (yes, most trackers are waterproof), or getting on your bike, they are designed to keep you on target.
Here, are our top 3 fitness trackers
1) YAMAY Fitness Tracker for Men/Women
Overview
This smart looking tracker from Yamay is neatly unobtrusive, yet deceptively well packed with useful features. Sleek and stylish, it can be worn anywhere, complementing any outfit without screaming ‘Tracker’, and with 14 sports modes, alongside the ability to connect to either iPhone or Android cells, this is a good contender for the top slot so far.
What We Like
Allowing the making of calls, sending texts, receiving alerts, this tracker means you can work and communicate on the go. It also possesses some great practical tools, such as sleep analysis, GPS, music, and stopwatch, plus the usual monitors. We particularly liked the deep breath guidance mode, and feel this could be useful for anxiety sufferers who wish to get outdoors for some exercise. The 7-10 days battery life is an impressive bonus.
What Needs Improving
We found the instructions a little unclear, however, after playing around with it, we soon worked out how to use all the features.
If you’re after a decent fitness tracker that monitors your exercise data, plus loads more besides, and doesn’t break the bank, this model from Yamay is a great choice. It’s inexpensive, and good looking enough, to purchase as a gift, too.

2) Fitbit Inspire Fitness Tracker
Overview
Well, here we have it – the name that everyone associates with fitness trackers, and with good reason. Sinuously svelte, with a face that blends seamlessly into the smart black strap – other colors are available, this can be worn anywhere. Preprogrammed with 15 goal-based exercise modes, plus all the usual fitness monitoring features, such as heart rate, calories consumed and sleep analysis, the Fitbit also allows access to the Fitbit app, and can sync with both iPhone and Android.
What We Like
The automatic record feature is a great idea, meaning that you can constantly monitor your performance without having to remember to set the tracker. We also like the real-time pace and distance monitoring, especially useful for jogging, swimming or cycling.
What Needs Improving
Our only complaint is that the battery life could be a little longer. From a full charge, the 5 days it lasts for is good, but it could be better.
A stylish tracker carrying the iconic look of Fitbit, this is a good choice for fitness fans, and with access to the app, it increases workout interest, and minimizes mundane exercise routines. This is an easy recommend!

3) Vabogu Fitness Tracker
Overview
Stylistically based on the original Fitbit, this tracker from Vabogu has more than earned its place on our list. Available in a wide range of colors, with access to the Runmifit app, this has all the features you could ever want, plus the added addition of being able to take photos with a flick of your wrist. This is a great feature, which works exceptionally well.
What We Like
The remote photo feature was something we all got rather excited about, and it really is great. No need to press the button on your smartphone. The Runmifit app, compatible with both iPhone and Android, is jam packed with useful fun features, including music, reminders, goal setting, and sleep data, and with a battery life of up to 7 days, this fitness tracker from Vabogu is well worth considering.
What Needs Improving
What is it with fitness trackers and a lack of understandable instructions? Luckily, they all seem to be pretty easy to figure out and this minor detail isn’t a hindrance.
For a budget-friendly fitness tracker, you’ll receive a remarkably high quality product. The well-considered features work nicely, while the genius remote photo taking ability is awesome!
